Coastal Electric employees recently helped erect an osprey platform in the Fancy Hall area using a retired utility pole.

After the area was converted to underground power lines, resident Mickey Sands contacted Coastal Electric about the project. Sands added a platform to the pole where he hopes ospreys will build a nest, and a crew of linemen from the utility company reset the pole. Coastal Electric’s Clint Durrence, Brittian Flowers, Keith Smith, Slade Walker and Eric Wells helped with the project.
