The city of Richmond Hill is one step closer to finding its new city manager.
Of 29 candidates, three have moved on to the interview process, according to an email from Richmond Hill Human Resources Director Pam Pendrak.
Candidates Ursula Lee, Chris Lovell and Nathan Mai-Lombardo are expected to be interviewed this week.
Pendrak’s email also stated the city manager selection committee will meet Friday in order to provide a recommendation to the council.
The city council is expected to vote on the matter at its May 1 regularly scheduled meeting.
Lee, of Midway, currently serves as the Richmond Hill City Clerk.
Lovell, of Richmond Hill, is the former president of Richmond Hill Bank.
Mai-Lombardo, of Savannah, was most recently a campaign manager for Savannah mayoral candidate Jeff Felser and director of planning and economic development at Garden City, according to his Linked-In site.
The city is hiring a new city manager to take the place of former city manager, Mike Melton, who contract was terminated in January.
