Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in Pembroke around 11:15 a.m. Saturday.

Officials say Lyman Fields, 56, of Pembroke was riding on Poplar Street when his motorcycle went up onto the sidewalk and struck a mailbox and telephone pole. No other vehicles were involved.
