Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler said Wednesday he will seek a second term.
Fowler, who took office in 2009 after defeating then Mayor Pro-Tem Floyd Hilliard, said he’ll run again in November “because there’s a lot more to accomplish.”
“The first two years I was mayor I really did not accomplish much,” Fowler said. “But with the new council coming on last year I feel like we’ve made some giant strides. I hope to be able in the next four years to continue what we've started.”
He’ll make it official with a campaign kickoff June 20. Qualifying is in August. Election day is Nov. 5.
