The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill recognized Chris Sewell and Mason Murphy as the Richmond Hill High School Student of the Month for September and October, respectively, at the group’s meeting Wednesday.

The Exchange Club has been making these presentations to outstanding RHHS seniors September through April each year for 30 years. The recognition is based on academic performance, community involvement, leadership and all-around excellence. Each monthly winner is presented a check for $100. In May of each year, the club selects a Student of the Year from among the monthly winners, with the presentation of a plaque and a check for $1,000 to the honoree during RHHS Honors Night.
