Coastal Advisory Council to meet in Midway

BRUNSWICK — The Georgia Coastal Management Program’s Coastal Advisory Council’s summer annual meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Coastal Electric Cooperative Office, 1265 South Coastal Highway, Midway.

The council’s quarterly meetings are open to the public.

They are opportunities for program staff to report to Coastal Advisory Council members, the local governments and agencies they represent, and the public about program activities and allows for discussion of coastal events and concerns.

The management program is part of the Georgia Department of Natural Resource’s Coastal Resource Division based in Brunswick.
