Bryan County News is attempting to assemble a list of grocery stores, gas stations and other businesses that will be open today.

Harvey's in Pembroke is open and running on generators. An employee there said they are only selling non-perishable items. Kroger in Richmond Hill expects to be open this afternoon and has gas. Clyde's Market at the Crossroads is open.

We will add information as it becomes available. Many businesses cannot open due to lack of power and are not reachable by phone for the same reason. If you are a business owner or you visit a store that is open, feel free to let us know via our Facebook page.

There are still more than 6,000 customers without power with no timetable available for restoration.
