Giving a little back to first responders

Richmond Hill Downtown Development Authority Chairwoman Georgene Brazer (center in above picture) and board members presented representatives of local first responder agencies with gift cards on Wednesday to mark National First Responders Day. The gift cards to local residents were a way “to show appreciation to all the First Responders that serve the city."

"These are challenging jobs and we hope that our small token of a gift card to one of the City’s restaurants shows our gratitude” said DDA board member Robbie Ward.

The cards will be distributed to members of the department by supervisors.
