Pembroke was site of a “Unity in the Community” event Saturday sponsored by The Craig Tremble Funeral Home.

 The event included partners from the Bryan County NAACP, Bryan County Democratic Committee, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, St. John’s AME Church, Neighborhood Improvement Association, Financial Educational Services, Cynthia Scott Insurance Company and the Pembroke Fire Department. 

Free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks were given out as well as lots of candy treats for the kids. Candy provided by Your Family Hospice of Hinesville.
