According to authorities, a man driving an pickup truck and travelling the wrong way on I-95 collided head-on with a minivan near mile marker 85 in Bryan County at approximately 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Both drivers were killed – as were two passengers in the minivan.

Police say the driver of the pickup, 28-year-old South Carolina resident Michael Delph, is suspected to have been intoxicated.

Reports indicate the minivan contained a Florida family on their way back from New York. 41-year-old deceased driver Michelle Carryl’s three children were injured and taken to Memorial. Their injuries are reportedly not life threatening.
