Expect more traffic on Fort Stewart
Advance party for Texas National Guard unit arriving here

An advanced party of about 800 observer controllers and trainers for the 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team's Mission Rehearsal Exercise here will begin arriving today, Fort Stewart's PAO said Friday.

The additional personnel will increase traffic on the installation.

Drivers are asked to be aware of the additional personnel on the installation and drive safely.

The 56th BCT, a Texas Army National Guard unit, will begin training on Fort Stewart early September in preparation for its upcoming deployment to Iraq.
