COVID-19 update for July 2

Due to changes in the way the Coastal Health District and Georgia Department of Public Health are releasing case information, the BCN is now able to provide a snapshot of Bryan County’s COVID-19 numbers. These numbers reflect totals available at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Confirmed Cases: 134. Total population: 39,137. Cases per 100K: 342.4 Deaths: 5 Deaths per 100k: 12.8 Hospitalizations: 23.

Case information for all counties in Georgia is available on the state Department of Public Health website at https://dph. georgia.gov/covid-19-dailystatus- report.
