The Nov. 7 municipal and countywide SPLOST election will be here before you know it.

One important deadline on Oct. 10, 2023, is the final day to register to vote or to change your address for the election.

One way to register is to visit the Bryan County Elections and Registration Office, now located in the Lanier Learning Center at 6024 U.S. 280, Pembroke in the front office. You can also do this on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website: mvp.sos. ga.gov.

Voter list update

Another important notice will soon arrive in the mail for registered voters who have not voted in the last two general elections and haven’t updated their voter registration in the last five years.

Registered voters who have not cast a ballot in the last two general elections are considered inactive and will be removed from the voter list if they do not respond to these notices. This is regular practice every odd numbered year to clean up voter rolls.

If you receive this notice and wish to remain enrolled, return the form or reach out to the Bryan County Elections and Registration Office within 40 days. To check your registration go to mvp.sos.ga.gov and enter your information in the form to the right.
