While PawParazzi focuses on pets, people can also pose for the fundraising photos with Santa, which benefits Bryan County Animal Control. - photo by Photo provided.

Santa Claus will visit PawParazzi Pet Boutique and Grooming Spa at 11360 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill, for a fundraiser to support the Bryan County Animal Control.

Pets and families are invited to meet Santa Claus and pose for photographs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Owners will be charged $20 for each photograph. Additional copies and digital images will also be available for purchase.

The family fun day will include refreshments, games, face painting, doggy ornament making, cookie decorating and more. PawParazzi will also provide treats for pets to sample and games for them to play.

This event will help to raise funds to spay and neuter the animals at Bryan County Animal Control, which will help the animals get homes. Also, there will be a meet-and-greet provided by Animal Control and Coastal Pet Rescue, which will bring along animals awaiting adoption. Food and pet supplies are welcome for donations.

All photos will be entered into the “Cutest Photo with Santa” competition, which will be posted on the PawParazzi’s Facebook page. The photo with the most “likes” will earn the owner a gift basket and grooming coupon for the spa.

“Our Santa photographs have always been popular and make wonderful holiday cards,” PawParazzi owner Jane Honnor said. “Last year, we were able to raise about $1,000 for the Bryan County Animal Shelter from the Santa pictures alone. This year, we wanted to do it even bigger. We have a much bigger space this year and are excited to have it more of a Christmas festival. We are encouraging people to bring along donations of food, treats, toys or any other doggy-related items to donate to the shelter. These fur-babies need to have a happy Christmas while waiting to be adopted to their forever homes.

“We are thankful to Angela Hopper of the Canvas Dog Studio, who is once again our photographer and is donating her time to this fundraising event.”
