For those like to work on cars but are befuddled by the computerized transmission system, an upcoming workshop is available.
Richmond Hill Transmission, at 6050 Highway 17 S., will host a free class called “An Introduction to Electronically Controlled Transmissions” from 6:30-8 p.m. April 21.
Owner Stuart Nethery said this is his way of giving back to the community in thanks for the business people have given over the last 15 years.
Because of limited space, only about 20 or so will be able to attend. Nethery said he hopes to hold more workshops in the future.
To register for the free workshop, call Richmond Hill Transmission at 756-7443. Attendees also are asked to bring a lawn chair.
