Big bucks to local organizations
vystar foundation

Luella Sanders, VyStar Credit Union assistant vice president for regional engagement, was on hand for the launch of VyStar Foundation, which recently gave out grants to organizations that support veterans, service members and their families.

“What an awesome opportunity to be a part of this inaugural grant funding cycle!,” Sanders said. “Two of our local Coastal Empire nonprofit organizations, America’s Second Harvest of the Coastal Empire and SD Gunner Fund, Inc. were awarded $20,000 each to continue doing the work in our communities helping those who need it the most!  Thank you VyStar Foundation for making these grant awards possible and for your commitment to making our communities stronger and better!”
