From the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office reports
August 22: Man trespasses on property a day after being evicted; deputies found the man severely intoxicated and nude below the waist, and was repeatedly saying that this was his house and ignored deputies when he was informed that he was evicted. After refusing to go to the hospital with EMS due to his intoxication, the man was charged with criminal trespass and was sent to jail.
August 22: Woman reports that she lost her registration decal while moving and the tag office requested a police report.
August 22: Mother and son involved in verbal dispute over a TV sports package.
August 22: Car stopped for travelling on I-95 southbound going 93 MPH in a posted 70 MPH zone.
August 24: Warrant executed for man found by Bloomingdale Police.
August 24: Man reports that four-wheelers are damaging the road in front of his property and his private road, and he also identified a potential suspect.
August 24: Woman reports that her vehicle has a deep scratch on it along the side, possibly caused by a key. She said that she was getting ready to go to church when she noticed it.
August 24: Abandoned vehicle found on the side of the road at the intersection of Kia Drive and Highway 280; was removed on the 24th of August via towing.
August 24: A woman reports that her ex-boyfriend keeps making erroneous 911 calls, and has been doing so since April 2025 (5 calls in total as of August 24, 2025). The woman’s father reports that he wants the ex-boyfriend to stop sending the police to his residence for no legitimate reason.
August 25: Driver stopped for failing to maintain lane; arrested for driving under the influence.
August 25: Driver stopped for not using headlights, headlights at night; arrested for not having valid driver’s license, insurance.
August 25: Woman reports that she believes that her neighbors are entering her property and messing with her draining ditch;
August 26: Car accident with no injuries reported at the intersection of Belfast Keller Road and Belfast River Road in Richmond Hill.
August 26: While at a Zaxby’s Drive-Thru, a man’s lawn mower roll bar struck the metal awning attached to the drive-thru menu board speaker causing it to twist. The driver left the scene after supplying his license and registration to the store manager.
