The Bryan County Branch of the NAACP is proud to support students pursuing higher education through its annual Higher Education Scholarship Program. 

This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to community service. Submission Process Applicants must complete and submit the application in its entirety before the scholarship deadline of Friday, April 17, 2026. 

Partial submissions will not be accepted. Incomplete or handwritten applications will automatically be disqualified.

 The application is available at www.Bryancountynaacp.org. 

Please print and complete all applicable sections of the application. Completed applications and supporting documents should be emailed as attachments to bryancountynaacpscholarship@gmail.com. Hard copy applications will also be available at Bryan County High School and Richmond Hill High School. 

Required Supporting Documents 

• Completed scholarship application packet

 • Proof of college acceptance or current student enrollment 

• Most recent official high school or college transcript (sealed if mailed; unsealed transcripts will result in disqualification)

 • Typed essay (minimum 500 words) 

• One letter of recommendation
