A unique gift recently brought tears of joy to a girl from Texas.

Courtney Fletcher Bennett's daughter Emma couldn't contain her excitement when she received an American Girl doll that looked like her prosthetic leg and all.

Bennett posted a video Wednesday on her Facebook page of Emma's reaction. The video has garnered over 12 million views.

A company called A Step Ahead Prosthetics made the prosthetic leg for the doll. In response to the attention it has received from the customized American Girl dolls, A Step Ahead Prosthetics posted details on its website.

We are NOT charging for the customization; we feel that it is absolutely crucial to boost the self-confidence, self-esteem and feelings of inclusion for little girls with limb loss and that something as small as a doll that resembles them can have a profound effect on their mental and physical well-being. In that spirit, anyone with a child who has had or is facing an amputation is welcome to send us an American Girl doll, which we will happily modify with a prosthetic limb (or limbs) to match the child, according to the website.

At the end of the Facebook video, Bennett read a note from A Step Ahead Prosthetics addressed to Emma that said the doll was ready to lead a life without limitations with her.

Thank you, Emma said as she hugged her new gift. Thank you for making a doll like me!
