MOTHERHOOD Throwing up is the worst.

Everyone likes to say that when youre really sick or nauseated, its best to give in and just let nature take its vomitus course.

I say, nay. Ive been through stomach bugs, mild food poisoning and ill-conceived rides on roller coasters where Ive thoroughly wanted to yak, but the idea of dealing with upchuck was so displeasing, I just rode out the yurpy wave. This is not medical advice, btw. This is just my own aversion to barfing that gave me a streak from 11 years old to 27 without needing to hug the porcelain thrown.

That being said, Ive never been pregnant. From what Ive been told (and there are horror stories shared at every baby shower/first birthday/random lunch), theres nothing quite like first trimester morning sickness.

The 1-year-old does a very convincing job, and hopefully mom was able to giggle despite being green.

Heres hoping her illness went away quickly! Whats your best morning sickness story?
