Mongolian Night on Thursdays
Beginning last week, Mongolian Night at the Hunter Club, building 6015, was moved to Thursdays. The time remains the same, 5-8 p.m.
Enjoy a selection of meats and vegetables seasoned and cooked to order with distinctive flavors of the orient.
The cost is just $9.95 per adult and half-price for children ages 5-10. No charge for children 4 and under.

Stewart GC Golf Scramble
The Stewart Garrison Commander's 4-person Golf Scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Aug. 27 at Taylors Creek Golf Course. The event will accept the first 25 teams. Register your team by Aug. 26.
The cost is $35 for Taylors Creek and Hunter Golf Club Members, Active Duty, Retirees, and Army Civilians, $45 for civilian guests.

Company-level Flag Football
Which company has the best flag football players in the 3rd Infantry Division? We'll know when October rolls around.
Company-level flag football play begins Aug. 24 and continues until Oct. 21. Game times are scheduled for 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Stewart's Bennett Sports Complex or Squires Sports Complex at Hunter.

Marne Lanes League Sign-ups
Sign-ups for the winter league season, which begins Sept. 10, are being accepted at Marne Lanes, building 402. There are leagues for everyone. Why not stop by the center and sign up for men's women's, Wednesday mixed or Friday mixed? A youth league also is offered.

Gospel Event at Stewart
Make plans now to join us at 8 p.m. Aug. 28 at Club Stewart for the Jokes & Notes gospel music event featuring Gospel comedian "Small Fire" and three-time Stellar award winner and Grammy nominated recording artist "Donald Lawrence".
Advance tickets are $20 each and are available at the club information counter. The price at door is $25 day of show. Advance and at-door prices include food.

"Top of the Rock" Road Race
Registration for the "Top of the Rock" road race sponsored by Family and MWR Sports Office begins on Aug. 16 and runs through Race Day Sept. 25, open to all military ID Cardholders. There will be 10 different age categories for males and females at the 5K and 10K race, and one 10K team category (minimum of 10 runners from same unit) for the competition.
Hunter and Stewart pre-registration deadline is Sept. 22 for the 10K team-company level only and entry fee is $15 per person. For individuals, the pre-registration deadline is Sept. 24 and entry fee is $18 per person. Register at Hunter's Tominac Fitness Center, building 919; Stewart's Leisure Travel Services, building 419 or Newman Fitness Center, building 439.
Individuals only will be able to register on Race Day, Sept. 25, 8 a.m. at Fort Stewart between Newman Fitness Center and Quick Track, entry fee is $25 per person.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners of the 5K and 10K (male and female finishers), top two finishers in each age category and the top two team finishers. T-shirts will be provided to all runners who register.

Youth dolphin watching trip
CYSS registered youth (grades 4-12) will search for dolphins on Aug. 28 along the Bull River in Savannah. This is a great opportunity to join fellow CYSS members in an adventurous trip and make new friends. There is no charge for the trip, so hurry and secure your seat before they are all gone.
The next trip is scheduled for Sept. 25, trawling down the Bull River.

Powder Puff Flag Football Sign-Up
Want to show the boys how it is done? Sign up for Powder Puff Flag Football on Fort Stewart. Game times are at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. and scheduled to start Sept. 8 through Oct 20 at Bennett Sports Complex, building 471.
There is no charge to compete and play is open to active duty Soldiers, Spouses, Retirees and Army Civilian women. Sorry, guys!
Individuals or teams interested in competing need to register by Aug. 31 at Bennett Sports Complex. Each team must have 7-15 players, as the competition will be 7-on-7 powder puff flag football. For more information, call 767-8238.

MMA Labor Day Brawl, Coke Concert

A mixed martial arts Labor Day Brawl, featuring a celebrity golf tournament, autograph signings, a 12-bout combative event and the Coke Concert Tour, will be held at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield on Sept. 3 and Sept. 4.
Here's the lineup:
Fort Stewart Sept. 2 - UFC stars Stephan Bonnar, Don House and a surprise UFC guest will visit Rocky's Zone, building 703, for a meet and greet, sign autographs for soldiers at 8 p.m.
Fort Stewart Sept. 3 - Bonnar, House and UFC guest will play in a Celebrity Golf Tournament at Taylors Creek Golf Course. Play begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $25 per person for four-man teams. Call 767-2370.
Fort Stewart Sept. 4 - Bonnar, House and surprise UFC guest will be at Marne Lanes, building 402 from 10-11 a.m. Come on out and bowl a frame or two with your favorite ultimate fighter.
Fort Stewart Sept. 4 - Bonnar, House and surprise UFC guest will sign autographs at noon in the Stewart PX, building 71. Kids can get their hands wrapped and autographs signed by fighters and play the UFC Undisputed 2010 video game with fighters.
Hunter Sept. 3 - Bonnar, House and surprise UFC guest will sign autographs at 5 p.m. in the Hunter PX, building 6020. Kids can get their hands wrapped and autographs signed by fighters as well as play the UFC Undisputed 2010 video game with fighters.
Hunter Sept. 3 - Coke Concert featuring Lisa Palleschi & Junior and fight weigh-in the Hunter Club Parking Lot, building 6015 beginning at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Lisa Palleschi's music has been featured in sports-related programs and venues ranging from NASCAR television shows to NFL stadiums. Junior has played and toured with bands such as Bowling for Soup, The All American Rejects, American Hi-Fi, Everclear, Lifehouse and 12 Stones.
Hunter Sept. 4 - Local fighters and fighters from the Southeast and elsewhere will compete in 12 MMA bouts in the Labor Day Combative Event at Tominac Fitness Center, building 919. Doors open at 6 p.m. and fights begin at 7. Bonnar will be ring announcer. The cost will be $10 for general admission in advance; $15 for general admission at door; $15 for cage-side seats in advance; $5 for youth ages 8-17. No charge for kids 7 and under.
