Beatles show in Brunswick in October

Coastal Georgia audiences soon will have the opportunity to relive the excitement associated with one of the most influential group in the history of pop music as the Historic Ritz Theatre in Brunswick kicks off its 2011-12 Performing Arts Series on Oct. 8 with “Yesterday: A Tribute to The Beatles.”
The energetic show spans one of the most remarkable decades in music history.
The No. 1 Beatles tribute act in the world recreates the group’s historic performances on The Ed Sullivan Show, at The Hollywood Bowl and at Shea Stadium in this musical tour through the group’s greatest hits and career highlights.
Tickets for “Yesterday” are available at the Historic Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle St., Brunswick, or online at goldenislesarts.org. Advance prices for adults are $15 for members of Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association and $20 for non-members; tickets for senior citizens cost $10 (GIAHA members) and $15 (non-members). On the day of the show, tickets cost $20 (adult members), $25 (adult non-members), $15 (senior members) and $20 (senior non-members). Patrons 18 and younger will be admitted for $5 in advance or on the day of the show.
