Members of Boy Scout Troop 527 recently erected 11 historic markers throughout Richmond Hill.
Christy Sherman, treasurer for the Richmond Hill Historical Society, was able to secure a $10,000 grant from the State Historic Preservation Office that helped pay for the markers. The city contributed another $10,000 and more than $6,000 came through in-kind contributions.
