Jack-o-lanterns lit up the night during the North Bryan Chamber of Commerce's pumpkin carving contest last week.
Jan Abdul's pumpkin won for "Most Spooktacular," an award that came with a $50 cash prize.
Other winners included Christina Huynh for first place in the Youth Division and Bobby Koskela for first place in the Adult division. The event was sponsored by Bryan County Farm Bureau, Pembroke Pharmacy, Alco and the North Bryan Chamber of Commerce.
