Cub Scout Pack 141 hosted its annual crossover ceremony at Pickett Park on Aug. 26.
This group has been busy serving its community and recruiting new Scouts. The pack recruited seven new members in August.
Some of the community services projects the pack has been involved in are Operation Care Bear, in which the kids raise funds to purchase teddy bears for children in crisis to be distributed by area law enforcement and emergency services.
The pack, along with Emmanuel Community Church, also packed and distributed 500 book bags at Pembroke’s National Night Out.
This pack is dedicated to helping its community. The pack meets at the American Legion Post 164 on Thursday evenings each week and is open to those interested in joining.
