Batson
Bobby Batson is the son of Dr. John and Rachel Batson of Richmond Hill.

Bobby Batson of Richmond Hill will be on the TV show “700 Club” on Tuesday to promote his upcoming movie, “90 Minutes in Heaven”.

The movie is based on the story of Don Piper, “a man who endured a horrific car accident, but was left with a renewed spirituality and understanding of his faith,” according to a news release. Batson, in his cinematic debut, will play Piper’s son in the film, which is the screen adaptation of the book by the same name. Batson will share the screen with actors Hayden Christensen and Kate Bosworth. The film is scheduled to come out in theaters this fall.

“The 700 Club” can be seen on ABC Family (Savannah cable channel 18) at 3 and 10 a.m. and 11 p.m., as well as online at cbn.com.

Batson is the son of Dr. John and Rachel Batson and has two older siblings, Maggie and John.
