Here are some of the events coming to our area:

Dec. 4
Bryan County Republican Party Membership Drive — The Bryan County Republican Party will hold a membership drive at 6 p.m. at Love’s Seafood, 6817 Chief of Love Road, Savannah. Joyce Mucci with the Federation for American Immigration Reform will be the guest speaker. For more information, go to www.facebook.com/groups/BRYANGOP.

Lapsit Story Time at Richmond Hill Public Library  — Enjoy quality time with your little one while reading at the Richmond Hill Public Library, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. For more information, go to strl.info/richmond-hill-public-library or call 912-756-3580

Dec. 5
10th Annual Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church Boston Butt Fundraiser — The Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church Youth Group will host its 10th annual Boston butt and barbecue-plate sale Friday-Saturday at 12965 Highway 144, across from Publix. Boston butts are $25 apiece, pulled pork is $7.50 per pound, and plates are $7 apiece. Plates will be available Friday only and can be delivered to local businesses. Boston butts and pulled pork can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will help fund the Youth Group’s missions. Feb. 6
Savannah Art Walk  — Head to Savannah for an inspiring and history filled art walk. The Art Walk starts at 4 p.m. at the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, 102 W. Bay St., and is free to the public. For more information, go to www.savannahartwalk.com.

Feb. 7
Super Museum Sunday  — Receive free admission to Ships of the Sea Museum, 4 Martin Luther King J. Blvd., Savannah, from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in celebration of Georgia history. Learn how sailors cleaned and caulked the decks of 19th-century merchant vessels during an interactive activity presented in the museum’s garden. Free kumquats will be available while supplies last.
