Sept. 23: Savannah Jazz Festival Blues Night - Georgia Kyle, Eric Culberson Blues Band and Joe Louis Walker will perform a free concert in Forsyth Park (downtown Savannah) starting at 7 p.m. The event, part of the 2010 Savannah Jazz Festival, is free and open to the public. “Children of Eden” performance - Savannah Christian Church (55 Al Henderson Blvd., Savannah) presents this musical about parents, children, faith and centuries of unresolved family business. Sept. 25:
Arts on the Coast Annual Family Picnic - Pack a basket and come out for a fun night in support of local artists. Admission and parking will be free, and attendees can enjoy the playground, entertainment by dance groups, music by The Boomerang Band, and a display of artists’ work. Open the Garden Gate -
Learn about the biodiversity of landscaping with native flora at this workshop, which will take place at the Richmond Hill City Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Speakers, panel discussions, book signing, and plant sale will be featured. Cost is $40 per person and includes lunch. Visit to learn more.
