Open-fire cooking workshop
Oatland Island Wildlife Center in Savannah will host an open-fire cooking workshop from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Participants will learn unique cooking techniques and recipes and enjoy a five-course meal that they prepare. Bird-watching
Wilderness Southeast, a nonprofit educational organization based in Savannah, will feature a bird-watching tour called Shorebirds and Shorelines from 10 a.m.-noon on Tybee Island. Join the tour, and learn more about coastal birds from an Audubon shorebird specialist. Tickets are $25 and include binoculars and spotting scopes.
