Sept. 2: Savannah Craft Brew Fest – Take your pick of over 150 craft beers to sample and learn about the art of craft brewing at this three-day festival. The event, which will take place at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center (Hutchinson Island) will also feature a golf tournament, oyster roast, seminars, fireworks, dessert party and more.  Tickets cost $25-$75. Sept. 3:
Fort McAllister Labor Day Family Festival –
Learn about the daily life of a Civil War soldier, including fort trades, cooking, pastimes and more, while enjoying activities from the past and present. Festival will take place at Fort McAllister from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be food and fun for all ages, with inflatables, corn hole, dunking booth and a surprise visitor. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.75 for children. There is no cost for children 5 and under. Call 727-2339 for more information.

First Saturday Fun at the Fort – Fort King George State Historic Site (302 McIntosh Road SE, Darien) will kick off Labor Day weekend with a bang from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with cannon firings, musket drills and hands-on games for children. Activities include a scavenger hunt, rolling hoops, tug-of-war and nature trail exploration. The cost is $4-6.50.
