Nov. 21-22: Movie Night Under the Stars — The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. Friday evening’s showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night’s movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs. Christmas Made in the South — From 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, the community can get ready for Christmas at this festival in downtown Savannah. The event takes place at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center and will include a wide variety of handmade works perfect for gifts. One admission is good for all three days with a  hand stamp. Cost is $7 and children 12 and younger are admitted for free. Parking is also free. For more information, call 447-4000.

Nov. 22
A Painting at Wormsloe — Instructor Brandi Hurlebaus will teach participants how to paint the Wormsloe oak avenue at the Wormsloe Historic Site from 4-6 p.m. The first event is family friendly, and the second event will include wine for adults after 5 p.m. Cost ranges from $25-50. Line dancing — The community is invited to learn line dancing steps at the Doubles Nightclub in downtown Savannah. Every Tuesday, guests can learn a new dance from 7:30-8:30 p.m., and dancing continues until 10 p.m. Admission is free with a cash bar. For more information, visit 352-7100.
