Family Promise of Bryan County will host its “Soul to Soul” event at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Belhaven, located at 1051 Belfast River Road in Richmond Hill, where a new collaboration will be unveiled that will benefit the families helped by the nonprofit organization.

The theme of the evening is community, compassion and commitment. Guests will enjoy live entertainment provided by Monty and the Pythons as they dine on delicious “soulful food.” This evening will also include a large array of live and silent auction items donated by local businesses and individuals.

“We are looking forward to this enjoying this soulful evening with members of our community and support network to raise much needed funds to continue to assist homeless families,” Family Promise Network Director Candice Fife said. “At this event, we will honor and celebrate our community and the hard-working volunteers who make it possible for us to work toward our mission.”

Family Promise of Bryan County collaborates with local churches and social service agencies to help families become finically stable and independent. The organization recognizes that poverty is a complex problem that requires a multifaceted response.

Family Promise responds by integrating educational outreach, smart programming, effective policies and the hands-on work of numerous volunteers in addition to providing food, shelter and support services for homeless families.

Tickets for the gala cost $97 each. For more information about this event or to purchase tickets, please visit www.familypromisebryancounty.org or email ekjohnson@coastalnow.net.
