Mt. Sinai musical

The Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church invites everyone to a musical extravaganza featuring Minister of Music Sister Fran Timmons Lewis and Sister Alfreda Moran. The Musical will be held June 29 at 7:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Mt. Sinai's choir.

Block party

First Baptist Church of Blitchton will sponsor a "Block Party" Saturday, June 23, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., for registration to Vacation Bible School. Games, puppets, refreshments and fun for all is planned. All children are invited to come and join Vacation Bible School which will be in progress from Sunday evening June 24 through June 29 from 6-8:30 p.m. Bible studies each evening.

The church is located on Highway 80 and Power Circle Road in Blitchton.

Highest Praise

Coastal Community Christian Church will host Highest Praise, a high school musical group presented by Ozark Christian College, in concert on Sunday, June 24, at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

Highest Praise is made up of 49 high school singers and musicians who perform top contemporary Christian hits and original dramatic skits. The concert at Coastal Community Christian Church is free and a love offering for the group will be collected. The church is located at 10770 Ford Ave. (Hwy. 144 144), about one mile east of Hwy. 17. Northside VBS

Northside Baptist Church’s 2007 Vacation Bible School will be held July 9-13 from 6:30–8 p.m. This year’s theme is "Wild West Witness; Ridin’ In the Shadow Of The Cross". Children of all ages are invited; and parents are welcome to stay also. A bicycle will be given to the girl and boy who brings the most friends.

Fundraiser

The Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church is selling fundraising dinners June 29-30 from 11-a.m.-7:30 p.m. The menu includes choice of either fried or backed chicken or BBQ ribs, potato salad, green beans and backbone with rice. Church anniversary

Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating its 138th anniversary beginning July 5 at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Berry Staley and the Fairmount Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah and on July 6 with Pastor Stanford L. Anderson I and Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill.

The celebration climaxes Sunday, July 8 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Floyd Hartford and the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill. Everyone is invited.
