Dr. and Mrs. Greer E. Noonburg of Richmond Hill announce the engagement of their son, Air Force 1st Lt. Lee Joseph Noonburg, to Valerie Kaye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark A. Haikin of Crescent City, Oklahoma.  
The couple met in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where the groom-to-be is stationed as a navigator and the bride-to-be works as an interior designer. Valerie graduated as valedictorian from Crescent High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is an interior designer with NCIDQ Certification at Pascal Aughtry & Associates, a commercial architectural firm in Oklahoma City.
Lee graduated from Richmond Hill High School and the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations. He has been stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, after completing USAF navigation training at the Pensacola (Florida) Naval Air Station. Lee completed a deployment to the Middle East and is due to return for another tour soon after they are married. He will be promoted to the rank of captain effective May 2015. He is completing a master’s degree in history.
A November wedding is planned at The Ford Plantation.
