Art show
The Richmond Hill Historical Society will present its fourth annual reception and art show, “Past and Present … Flora, Fauna, and Faces of Bryan” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Richmond Hill Museum.
The event will feature Arts on the Coast artists’ creations and archival photographs of people and places who need identifying. Also, the new Richmond Hill historical plates will be on display.
Food and beverages will be served at the reception.

CCA banquet

The Richmond Hill chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association will hold its 12th annual banquet and auction at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Marker 107 Restaurant on Kilkenny Road in Richmond Hill with the Tyler Hammond Band providing live entertainment.
Tickets are $65 for individuals and $110 for couples. The cost includes CCA annual membership with a subscription to TIDE magazine, as well as dinner and the “ever-famous” bottomless cup.
Corporate tables are also available and include complementary shuttle service, advertising in the banquet program and CCA favors in addition to membership and dinner.

GOP forum

The Bryan County Republican Party will host a Coastal Georgia Candidate Forum on 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Richmond Hill City Center in J.F. Gregory Park.
All declared GOP candidates in and around Coastal Georgia who are running for Congress or state government have been invited. This event is part of the party’s membership drive.
Candidates in attendance will be given 5-10 minutes to address the audience and are invited to bring campaign signs, pamphlets and other items.
WTOC’s Sonny Dixon will emcee.

Senior Safari
Magnolia Manor on the Coast will hold its annual Senior Safari event at 4 p.m. Sept. 27 in support of the Savannah Coalition on Aging.  
This year’s event theme is “The Wizard of Oz.”  Tickets are available to senior adults for $5 each and include an evening full fun, live entertainment, delicious food and prizes.
