Honor Flight Savannah is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sending area World War II and Korean War veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit their war memorials. All expenses for the veterans are paid by Honor Flight Savannah, which depends on donations from the community and is not a government-supported program.

Spring art show
Arts on the Coast will have its spring art show from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at 2591 Highway 17, Suite 101 in Richmond Hill. An artists’ reception with refreshments will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today. For more information contact artsonthecoast@yahoo.com.

Cut-A-Thon Fundraiser
Come out and help Evan say goodbye to leukemia at the Cut-A-Thon, car wash and bake sale fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at The Salon on Ford Avenue in the Sawmill Plaza. For updates on his progress, check out the “Praying for Evan” Facebook page.

Youth revival
The Jerusalem Missionary Baptist will have a youth revival at 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday with the Rev. Paul Little as the guest minister. The theme is “There is no one like Jesus.”

RHHS Spring Concert
The Richmond Hill High School Symphonic, Concert and Jazz bands will perform their Spring Concert at 7 p.m. May 10 at the amphitheater in J. F. Gregory Park. Committee meeting
The right-of-way committee appointed by the Bryan County Commissioners will hold a committee meeting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the commissioner’s meeting room in Pembroke. The meeting is to discuss recommendations regarding a reduced right-of-way width for subdivisions. For more information call 653-3839.

Library meeting
The Bryan County Library Board will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Richmond Hill Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.

Thirty-One benefit
Bryan County Family Connection will benefit from a Thirty-One Gifts open house May 10.

Stop by the J. Dixie Harn Community Center in Pembroke from 4-8 p.m. to see the 2012 summer catalog and other items on sale with 20 percent of the proceeds going to BCFC. Refreshments, door prizes and more will also be available. For more information, call Wendy Sims at 653-3824.

Asperger support
Richmond Hill Asperger Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. May 15 at the Richmond Hill Public Library.

Pray for rain
Pembroke Christian Church will host a weekly prayer/praise for rain service at 7 p.m. every Monday. Everyone is invited. This service is sponsored by the North Bryan County Ministerial Association.

Legion meeting
American Legion Post 164 meets at 8 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the post home on Highway 280 about a half mile west of Harvey’s Grocery store. All veterans are invited to attend.

Volunteers needed
The Bryan County Senior Centers are in need of volunteers to deliver meals to homebound clients from 10 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday in the Richmond Hill and Pembroke areas.
