Cars and Coffee will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Richmond Hill History Museum.
Attendees can bring an antique or collector car and swap stories, tips and ideas with fellow car enthusiasts. Admission is free.
Fresh gourmet coffee will be offered for 25 cents with a donation of $1 or more to the museum.

Rifles presentation
“Assault Rifles of the Civil War” will be presented at 11 a.m. March 15 at Fort McAllister State Historic Park.
Rangers will be at the fort to demonstrate with a display of Civil War “assault rifles” to help explain and elaborate on the uses of these weapons.
Admission is $7.50 per adult, $4.50 per child age 5-older and $6.50 per senior. Children 5-younger are admitted free.

Seeking volunteers

Savannah Promise Walk for Pre-eclampsia, set for May 3 in J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill, is looking for volunteers to help on walk day.
The fundraiser is also seeking donations for the silent auction that will be held on the day of the walk.

Veterans needed
Honor Flight Savannah is offering World War II and Korean War-era veterans living in southeast Georgia and South Carolina an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., to visit their war memorials.  
To register for a trip or to volunteer to serve as a guardian on a trip, go to www.honorflightsavannah.org or call 912 925-7280.
Honor Flight Savannah is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free trips to Washington, D.C., for area veterans.
Funding for trips is dependent on contributions from community citizens and businesses.

Scout fundraiser
Boy Scout Troop 527 will have its annual barbecue fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. May 3 at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church.
Meals will include half a barbecued chicken, potato salad, green beans, a roll and tea for $9.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance, and Scouts will be going door to door in South Bryan neighborhoods.
The fundraiser will help send Scouts to summer camp in July at the Blue Ridge Reservation in Virginia and possibly the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
