Choir anniversary: Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church will have its choir anniversary celebration at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 16525 Highway 144, Richmond Hill.

Joint planning workshop
The Richmond Hill City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a joint meeting and workshop at 7:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall to discuss a proposed commercial project at 10471 Ford Ave. The public is encouraged to attend.

Holiday closing
The Bryan County Libraries at Pembroke and Richmond Hill will be closed on Sept. 3 for the Labor Day holiday.
Board meeting
The Bryan County Board of Health will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 4 in the Bryan County Health Department in Pembroke.

Remembrance service
Pembroke Christian Church will host a 9/11 remembrance service, sponsored by the North Bryan County Ministerial Association, on at 6 p.m. Sept. 9.
The community is invited to bring a chair and enjoy an evening full of patriotic pride.
