The Bryan County Bark Park board of directors has announced a new collaboration with local Richmond Hill business Sew Much Baggage in unveiling T-shirts featuring the Bryan the Bark Park Dog logo.
The T-shirts are 100 percent cotton in light green and are $25 each. They are available in small, medium, large and X-large (XX-large, XXX-large and children’s sizes are available by special order).
All proceeds from a range of products, including T-shirts, decals and soap, support the Bark Park and are available at PawParazzi at Parkers Square and Mane Tamers Styling Salon, 10646 Ford Ave., as well as at the first Richmond Hill Farmers Market of every month. Bark Park volunteers will have a table from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in J.F. Gregory Park.
“We are ramping up our fundraising initiatives between now and the holidays to help us reach our target of opening phase one this year and will be announcing more cute ‘Bark Park’ products and fun fundraising initiatives soon,” Bark Park President Wendy Bolton said.
The money raised supports the Bryan County Bark Park fundraising campaign, a nonprofit organization obtaining 501(c) 3 status. Donations may be tax deductible.
Bark Park officials also said an agreement has been made with the Bryan County Board of Commissioners and land soon will be cleared at the site of the future dog park within Henderson Park.
