Americans love their fast food.

A recent Gallup poll found that 8-in-10 (80 percent) people will eat fast food at least once a month. This is up from 2006, when 1-in-4 (25 percent) people said the same.

The poll, which interviewed more than 2,000 adults, also found that 76 percent of people think fast food isnt good for them, and yet they still eat it.

Theres also a wage gap between fast food fans and those who dont eat it. Those who make $75,000 a year are less likely to eat fast food than low-income earners, according to the poll.

But what do Americans eat when they pull up into the drive-thru? And what are their favorite meals? The Ringer, a sports and popular culture news website, recently put together a list of the top 50 fast food items in the country.

The Ringer staff voted on the items, picking 100 nominees before voting it down to the top 50.
