Honor Band students from Richmond Hill Middle and Richmond Hill High schools performed recently during the Georgia Music Educators Association conference held in Savannah.
Twenty students from RHMS performed with the District 1 Honor Band Feb. 2-4. The high school also had a large number of participants in the Honor Band, six of whom also made All-State.
Richmond Hill’s band students are now in process of raising funds for coming events: The Wildcat Winds will be performing in Atlanta in April, and the RHHS Band will be traveling to Orlando, Fla., to perform at Universal Studios.
