Students earn honors at colleges

The following Bryan County residents were named to the dean’s list at Valdosta State University for the fall 2011 term.
Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional GPA of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the dean’s list.

Wake Forest
Timothy Dixon of Richmond Hill was among more than 1,800 students who made the fall dean’s list at Wake Forest University. Full-time students who have a grade point average of 3.4 or higher and no grade below a C for the semester qualify for the dean’s list.
