Tristan S. Raub of Richmond Hill is a recipient of a U.S. Army Cadet Command merit-based scholarship to attend the University of North Georgia.
The Army ROTC scholarship enables high-school seniors to pursue bachelor’s degrees at UNG and commission as second lieutenants in the Army after graduation. Scholarship recipients agree to serve four years in the regular Army as an officer after graduation.
The scholarship is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal interviews and physical fitness.
