Richmond Hill Girl Scouts, known collectively as the Cupcakes of Doom from the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, entered a robot “Gir” in the First Lego League Robotics competition Dec. 4 in Savannah.
The object was to build a robot with Legos and program it to achieve a series of missions of interacting with other objects made out of Legos.
The Cupcakes accomplished each of the team’s three attempted missions. They did not finish in the top three but won first place for Core Values.
