Bryan County Elementary School kicked off the 2014-2015 school year with a twist and a shout!
On Friday, Aug. 8, students and staff filled the hallways as music from our very own DJ Jazzy Julz (aka BCES’s Principal, Ms. Gannam) flooded the corridors.
They danced their hearts away while bopping beach balls from one end to the other in celebration of their first week of rockin’ out school success.
BCES’s Radical Redskins Hallway Dance Party is part of the school wide behavior reinforcement program that promotes a safe, caring, and responsible school community. Each Friday during the school year, students can earn small Redskin Rewards in their classes for demonstrating citizenship and character throughout the week. Then, once a month a larger reward, Radical Redskins, awaits those who carry these life skill behaviors throughout the entire month. Students are already setting goals for the rest of August in order to be able to skate ‘til their hearts content!
If you’d like to donate or contribute to any of these rewards, please do not hesitate to call the school.
