Georgia Southern: Three students from Bryan County were named to the 2012 summer-semester president’s list at Georgia Southern University.

Daniel Ames of Richmond Hill and Alison Bale and Melissa Sharp of Pembroke were honored. To be eligible for the list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade-point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Meanwhile, Joseph Bacot of Ellabell was named to the Georgia Southern University dean’s list for the 2012 summer semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade-point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
