Youth baseball camp registration now open

The day after Labor Day will be a holiday for Bryan County students and new baseball coach Kyle Farmer would like to use it to introduce future Redskins to baseball the Redskins Way.

Farmer, who played on a state championship team at Calvary Day School and was a longtime assistant who helped Benedictine to a pair of state championships, will be holding a Youth Baseball Camp on Sept. 3 for first through eighth graders.

The camp will run 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost will be $45. Parents may register their child at GoFan.com. Farmer and his staff along with Redskins players will conduct the camp which will focus on sharpening basic baseball skills.
