Richmond Hill High School will play host to Lanier at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the second round of the state Class AAAAAA football playoffs at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wildcats (7-3) are the No. 1 seed from Region 2-AAAAAA. Lanier, from Sugar Hill, is the No. 2 seed from 8-AAAAAA.

The Longhorns are 10-1 after edging Sprayberry 15-14 last week.

The Wildcats downed M.L. King 28-12 in the first round of the playoffs. Should the Wildcats win Friday, they'll advance to play the winner of Valdosta and Johns Creek.

Tickets for Friday's game are $10 and will be sold in advance at Plantation Lumber, First Bank of Coastal Georgia, and the Richmond Hill High School east main office.
