Friday, 2/16 vs 6A North Forsyth HS. (Loss, 6-5): In a close ballgame, the Raiders eased past the Wildcats for our first loss of the season and their first win of the season.

Saturday, 2/17 vs 3A Savannah Christian Preparatory School. (Loss, 7-6): The Wildcats fought back hard after trailing 7-0 after 3 innings, but came up short against the always tough Raiders.

Tuesday, 2/20 vs 6A Effingham HS. (Won, 7-3): The Wildcats handle the Rebels with ease and complete the 2-game sweep of Effingham.

Upcoming games:

Friday, 2/23 @ 5A Coffee County HS.  Coach Hill returns to Douglas to take on the Coffee County Trojans at 6 p.m.  Hill spent 5 years at Coffee County HS as an assistant baseball coach before coming to Richmond Hill and he knows first-hand the rich tradition CCHS has built.  A win against the 3-time GHSA State Baseball Champion would surely put a big smile on his wife’s–soon-to-be Mama Hill–face. Coach Hill will have his Wildcats fired up and ready to conquer the Trojans. The Wildcats are currently sporting a 3-2 record and the Trojans are 4-0

Saturday, 2/24 @ Coffee County HS:  Coach Hill will have his Wildcats rising early and getting a good breakfast in preparation for an early wake-up call, and a 11:00 a.m. first pitch on the Trojan campus, at the beautiful Charles A. Wilson field. The opponent will be the 1A Christian Heritage Lions, out of Dalton, Ga.   And you can bet Christine Heritage School Baseball Team didn't plan their winter break staring out the window at empty corn fields, on a 6-hour bus ride, one-way, and not getting some quality baseball.  They will be ready to play.

It should be an exciting weekend!

Editor's Note: Coach Hill's birthday is today! Best birthday wishes to him and hopefully he'll get his birthday wins with the Wildcats over the weekend!
