Wildcat soccer team advances to boys Elite 8

The Bradwell Institute soccer teams lost their scrimmages Tuesday against Wayne County in Jesup.

Richmond Hill High School will play No. 2-ranked Gainesville High on the road after beating Houston County 2-1 in the second round of the boys' class AAAAAA soccer tournament on Thursday night at Wildcats Stadium.

The Wildcats are 13-5-1 overall. The Elite 8 game is set for May 8 Gainesville. 

Gainesville is 16-2-1 overall.


Richmond Hill's girls fell 2-1 to Houston County in the girls' tourney in a second round game Wednesday to finish 12-6-1.

Wildcats compete in 7-on-7 football

On June 13, the Richmond Hill Wildcats football team competed at a 7-on-7 football camp hosted at Statesboro by Georgia Southern’s football program. Various other high school programs in the southeast Georgia region were in attendance.
